Float center Ljubljana

Float Center Ljubljana is the largest float center in the European Union.  New modern and innovative project in Ljubljana was realized to provide people with new experiences. Floating in the pod is a type of floating therapy on water that contains large amounts of Epsom salt, which allows complete relaxation of the body and mind.

For this project we renovated the old office space  in Ljubljana with an area of 250 sqm. to the new functional Float Center. We designed the new concept and new organisation of the space, including reception, five pod rooms, chill room, cosmetic room and technical spaces.

Big terrazzo reception desk and wooden wall lightened with led lights give a warm welcome to all guests who come to the Float Center.

Five pod rooms were specially designed without natural light, only with the small ambiental led light of different colours. The main part in the room takes the pod, which has integrated small blue led lights inside, so that guests can experience floating with the closed pod. Every room also contains the small bench and a shower. We designed also a special couple room which has 2 pods, for relaxing couple floating experience. Chill space was specially designed for guests of the center to have a peaceful rest and cup of a tea after the floating experience. One wall in the chill room has the projector, which is intended to play relaxing recordings, usually sounds from nature. Cosmetic room or beauty room offers a skin-friendly body lotion, as well as face creams and a hairdryer.

Project was mainly focused to adjust the design according to the functional use for guests for each space and technical background, to provide right technology and place for water and electric installation.  Interior design is  made in warm natural  grey and beige colours with adding of green that give guests feeling  of warm, safe and relaxing atmosphere after floating experinece and at the same time lift of energy which is so important in our modern life.
